2012 was a great year for live acoustic music here in Frederick County. Lots of great shows and wonderful music. I look forward to hosting the popular Sunday Songwriters Songfest every other Sunday afternoon at the Frederick Coffee Company, and helping out at Rod Deacey's Monday Night Songwriter Showcase in the upstairs dining room. 2021 Update
It is April 25, 2021 and the global COVID-19 pandemic still plagues the world, although locally we are seeing a decrease in the positivity rate. Hopefully with more folks getting vaccinated (I've had both mine), the number of new cases will continue to decrease and life will begin to return to normal. I don't mind wearing a mask in public but I look forward to seeing smiles again, giving hugs and accepting a handshake. All simple things, but so important for our emotional and psychological well being.
Outdoor LIVE acoustic music is beginning to happen again at local wineries, farm breweries and micro breweries. Hopefully indoor music venues will be allowed to host music again soon.
